Your assignment is to create a “how-to” style multimodal website formatted as a set of directions about either (1) a campus resource at MJC, (2) an approved topic mentioned in one of our readings thus far, or (3) an approved topic related to the general subject of mental health and/or mindfulness practices. This multimodal essay will give you a head start on familiarizing yourself with basic research practices, citing source material, and informative writing. You can format the writing as a numbered list, a recipe or manual-style set of guidelines, or something similar. Do not style this as your typical 5-paragraph essay. You will need to apply some research and cite your sources (such as the MJC website if you choose option 1 and one or more of our texts if you choose option 2).
