Once you login to PrepStep and are directed to My Center, you can start exploring the available Resources. To find a test, click Get Started in the Tests box.
For this example, I have chosen Career Preparation. When I click on that, I'm given options for learning workplace skills or preparing for specific exams.
Once you choose a test, you get options for which one to take. I've chosen "Become a U.S Citizen" from the Build Workplace Skills option for this example.
I then chose the first item, "U.S. Citizenship Test Practice: Civics Questions Set." There are 7 practice tests for this particular test practice. Clicking Start Test takes you to a page that describes the test, explains the details, and gives you three modes in which to take the test -- simulation, practice, and learner.
The simulation option behaves as the test would if you were actually taking it; the practice mode allows you to see the answer explanation and time is not enforced; while the learner mode allows you to see the answers as you go -- its purpose is to help you study.
You can move through the test questions, take notes, and save your practice test and return to it later.
