Put Your Textbook in Course Reserves

Help Students Access Instructional Materials on the First Day of Class!

Are some of your students waiting for their bookstore orders to come in? Do you have plans to use certain books later in the semester and/or already know the book you'll be using next semester? If so, now is the time to boost student success by putting copies of these books in Course Reserves at the Library & Learning Center (L & LC).  In addition, you’re helping our college comply with Section 54221 of the California Code of Regulations, which seeks to ensure students have access to instructional materials on the first day of class.

Drop by either L & LC so that we can help place your assigned books on reserve.  If you're not sure whether you have something on reserve now, check our current course reserves and watch this 90-second video to see how you (and your students) can search for materials we have in Course Reserves.

Interested in exploring Open Educational Resources (OER), perpetual eBooks, or working with your School and the L & LC to create a Semester Loan program?  Reach out to Olga Castañeda or Mike Leamy.
