Getting Help Is Easy

How Can Librarians Help?

When you come into the Library & Learning Center to work with a librarian, we can help you with a wide variety of research-related tasks. For example, we can help you:

  • Understand your assignment or writing prompt
  • Define your research topic
  • Find background information to get you started
  • Help you create your research questions to focus your search for information and the flow of your paper
  • Find detailed information from reliable sources to answer your research questions and build a body of evidence for the points you want to make in your paper or speech
  • Learn to format your paper in the style required by your teacher. These are typically MLA, APA, or Chicago styles

All of this help is free and all you have to do is walk in the door!
