Why SI+?

SI+ is a non-remedial approach to learning that supports students toward academic success by integrating "what to learn" with "how to learn." SI+ consists of regularly scheduled, out-of-class group study sessions and more facilitated by trained peer leaders. If your course does not have an SI component, ask your teacher!

Success rates are higher for students who participated in SI+ course sections compared to students in the same sections who did not participate in SI+, 75% vs 56% in STEM and 82% vs 65% in non-STEM courses.

Retention rates are also higher for students in the same sections who participated in SI+ compared to students who did not participate in SI+:  84% in STEM vs 72% and 92% vs 80% for non-STEM courses.
