Provide Immediate and Continuous Feedback
Providing comments within student projects is a great way to give immediate feedback to students as they progress through their research process.
When you open projects that students have shared with you, you view them in read-only mode; you can view but not modify students' citations, notecards, and outlines. Even though you can't edit citations, notecards, or outlines, you can add comments to help your students at each stage of their research.
The one exception to this rule is if a student shares a paper that she has composed in Google Docs with you, you have full edit privilege, allowing you to write comments and/or corrections directly on the paper in Google Docs. To collaborate on papers composed in Google Docs you'll need to have a Google Account.
