Films on Demand is a streaming video collection that contains unlimited, 24/7 access to thousands of videos. The MJC Library has access to videos in these topic categories: Careers and Job Search, Families and Consumer Science, Guidance and Counseling, and Technical and Trade Education. The video content can be embedded into any course management system, such as Blackboard, and can be used by faculty and students anytime, anywhere. In addition, there are mobile options for iPad and Android.

Global Issues In Context offers information on hundreds of topics including economics, the environment, health, religion, technology, terrorism, and women's rights. The database includes a Country Finder where users can either click an interactive global map or choose a country and/or region from a drop-down list. Each country has a portal and a profile that contain historical, economic, and political information culled from a variety of sources including American and international newspapers, magazines, and Gale reference titles.
